2014年8月28日(周四)，外交部外交及國際事務學院、國立中興大學與當代南亞與中東戰略研究中心將共同舉辦2014年中部國際事務論壇，主題是【阿拉伯之春對伊斯蘭世界之經濟與社會影響】。
地點在中興大學社管大樓931教室。座談會除了邀請到國內中東文化與國際事務的學者教授外，更邀請了兩位來自伊朗的教師，不只從台灣的角度來看到阿拉伯之春，更從伊斯蘭文化的觀點來認識這場運動對伊斯蘭世界所造成的影響。

阿拉伯之春爆發至今已有3年，這場運動席捲整個中東地區，對於這些國家之政治與社會發展產生極大影響。為了更清楚理解阿拉伯之春對於伊斯蘭世界的影響，中興大學當代南亞與中東戰略研究中心中心將於8月28日下午舉行一場座談會，邀請研究中東與伊斯蘭世界之國內外學者，就當前情勢提出觀察與分析。全程將以中／英文進行。
The Arab Spring movement, since its inception three years ago, has spread to most countries in the Middle East and created profound impacts on these societies. To better understand the social and economic impacts of the Arab Spring movement on the Islamic world, the Center for Strategic Studies for South Asia and the Middle East (CSSAME), will host a symposium on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at National Chung Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan. The symposium will invite experts on the Middle East and Islamic world to share their observations and analyses. The symposium will be conducted in Chinese and English.
